        Pediatric Pulmonary and Allergy Associates is experienced in the art of caring for children with lung diseases. We specialize in Pediatric Pulmonary, Allergy, Immunology and Sleep medicine. Pediatric Pulmonary and Allergy Associates services Northern Dade, Broward and Southern Palm Beach counties. We have locations in Pembroke Pines, Plantation and Boca Raton. 
        Our mission is to treat each child as an individual, providing them compassionate, quality healthcare. We diagnose and treat children with various lung conditions such as chronic cough, asthma, wheezing and upper respiratory infections. We also help children with sleep disorders such as apnea, snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness and restless sleep. Our allergist treats common allergic conditions such as sneezing, itchy eyes, watery eyes, dry itchy skin and eczema. We provide in house allergy testing, allergy shots and spirometry testing. We also  provide RSV prophylaxis for high risk infants.
        Pediatric Pulmonary was founded in 1987 by Dr. Jose A. Birriel.  In 1992 Dr. Samuel Vazquez partnered with Dr. Jose Birriel and Pediatric Pulmonary expanded into Pediatric Pulmonary and Allergy Associates (PPAA). In 2003 Dr.Isaac Talmaciu joined the practice and PPAA started caring for children with sleep disorders. All of our practitioners are experienced in treating children of all ages ranging from neonatal until adulthood.
